Touches of white and gold created a timeless and elegant ambiance in our Grand Central Ballroom to celebrate Meaghan and Mathew’s love story. Good food, music and glow sticks created a playful and fun atmosphere to dance the night away with family and friends. This was truly a night to remember!
Our wedding reception in the Grand Central Ballroom was truly unforgettable. Over 300 family members and friends filled the room with so much love, laughter and fun. From the stunning venue to the delicious food and lively music, it was an evening we’ll always cherish.
What were some of the sources of inspiration behind the look and feel of your event?
We wanted our wedding to feel elegant and timeless, so we went with a classic look featuring lots of white and gold touches. LiUNA Station’s historic architecture and beautiful details provided the perfect backdrop and really helped bring the whole look together.

The Antipasto Bar was our absolute favourite! Having attended several weddings at LiUNA Station, we always remembered how amazing it was. We couldn’t wait for our guests to experience it for themselves on our wedding night.
What is the one piece of advice you would give someone planning their big day!
Don’t stress over the tiny details—no one will remember what colour the napkins were or the style of font on the seating chart. What guests will remember is the atmosphere: the venue, the food, the music and most importantly, the joy of celebrating with you. Try to really enjoy the engagement and planning process—it’s such a special time in your life. Focus on what feels true to you as a couple, and let the rest fall into place.
What moment during your event will forever be etched into your memory?
A moment we’ll always remember was being on the dance floor, surrounded by a packed crowd of our favourite people. The music was buzzing, glow sticks were everywhere, and it just felt like pure joy. Seeing everyone having such a great time meant the world to us—it was everything we hoped the night would be.
