What is your favourite thing about shooting a LiUNA Station event?
What I love about shooting a LiUNA Station event is its beautiful architecture, unique ambiance, versatile location for stunning visuals, and friendly staff!

Communicate your expectations and collaborate with the photographer.
What is your favourite thing about shooting a LiUNA Station event?
The location of LiUNA Station in Hamilton is absolutely amazing. Not only does the exterior of the building and grounds provide so many spots for taking images and changing out backgrounds to create different moods and settings that suit the style of the day, but within a short drive you have Bayfront Park to give the wedding party more space to roam and gather all the content a photographer could dream of. One of my personal favourite spots at LiUNA is the front of the building using the pillars to create some epic moments with the bride and groom. The images from that spot bring a huge impact to my client galleries. The bridal preparation space lends itself to enough natural light so getting ready images can round out a full day gallery.
What is one piece of advice you’d give to a client to get the most out of their booked service?
Finding vendors who have worked with a space before can give you another toolbox of ideas you hadn’t explored before and use the on staff event planner. They know what they are doing! They have hosted or helped bring to life hundreds of visions and can help you create the event you have only ever dreamed of.
What is your favourite thing about shooting a LiUNA Station event?
By far our favourite part of the LiUNA Station wedding experience is the exterior building and gardens. The building is absolutely gorgeous (especially at night) and makes for one of a kind photos that you can’t get anywhere else.
What is one piece of advice you’d give to a client to get the most out of their booked service?
When working with a photographer we appreciate getting a list of photos you want but don’t over do it. Having too large of a list can make it hard to capture all the natural candid moments as we will be searching for photos on the shot list and end up missing some of the best candid moments.

What is your favourite thing about shooting a LiUNA Station event?
My favourite thing about shooting at LiUNA Station is the mix of beautiful architecture and history that the building showcases! As a Hamilton native I just love the history of this city and LiUNA is a big part of that!
What is one piece of advice you’d give to a client to get the most out of their booked service?
The best advice I could give to a client to get the most out of their booked service is to have an ironclad timeline that also allows buffer time for unexpected delays. Book your hours with your photographer accordingly! Don’t try to fit in scheduled moments at every minute because you will inevitably fall behind – and that’s ok! Just be realistic and work with this in mind.
