For the past 30 years, House of Floral Designs has been a full-service floral studio that takes great pride in gaining our clients’ trust. Our services include floral and event design styling, décor rentals, floral preservation, floral workshops, and event and wedding planning. I, Frances Lo Presti, the owner and multi-time award-winning designer, am passionate about curating unique designs that surpass our clients’ expectations. “I simply love and adore my passion for floral design.” My goal is to work closely with clients, customizing their dream details while keeping their budgets in mind. It’s such an honor to be part of our couples’ special moments, even in the smallest way. We love bringing their vision to life with gorgeous blooms and trendy designs, creating a memorable and unforgettable event.

We’re still receiving rave reviews from Sarah and Andrew’s monochromatic motif. The delicate black-and-white theme with a hint of soft pink created a sophisticated, timeless look. I couldn’t resist adding more intricate details, which enriched the beauty of the unique King George Room. All the vendors involved – and of course, the LiUNA team – were amazing to work with. Our team and I feel so blessed to have been part of Mr. and Mrs. Cozier’s breathtaking and joyous day!
From decor and lighting to florals and photography-What is your top tip for working an event?
Every event presents unpredictable challenges. Preparedness and knowledge are key. Multitasking, organizational skills, and having a knowledgeable team, along with a backup plan, are all essential in any field of work.
What are your top event MUST haves or favourite trends for 2025?
I was sipping hot chocolate when the wonderful announcement for Pantone’s 2025 color, “MOCHA MOUSSE,” was made. Cheers to this beautiful, soft, and muted brown! Other color palettes, like soft pink, tan, green, muted violet, mauve, as well as some blue and gray, are also trending. While brides still love white, cream, and blush, the Pantone color of 2025 is leading the way.
Abundant displays with towering structures that evoke a garden-like ambiance will steal the show during ceremonies, creating a sense of luxury and splendor. Gorgeous canopies of blooms will be quite popular and will be relocated to the reception, enhancing the venue’s elegance and luxury.
Bold, vibrant color combinations are also making a comeback. Couples are leaning towards bright, joyful flowers for their celebrations. Bridal bouquets will vary in style and shape, with arm-held bouquets being a stylish choice that adds personality to the look. These bouquets are not bulky but very regal.
Tablescapes are trending toward a minimalist approach. Couples prefer simplified arrangements without overwhelming the space. Simple vases with carefully chosen blooms, lush garlands, and vintage silver candelabras or modern vases with single blooms will add a romantic feel. Olive trees, with their symbolic meaning, and cherry blossom trees are also very popular, adding beauty and finesse to the venue.
