Tell us a bit about your event you hosted at LiUNA Station!
We hosted our wedding in the beautiful Grand Central Ballroom on June 28th, 2025. LiUNA Station went above and beyond to bring our vision to life and truly left us speechless. Everything—from the antipasto and indoor bar to the grand front entrance—was flawless. The LiUNA team communicated so well throughout the process, and the food was exceptional. We’re so grateful they were part of our special day.
What were some of the sources of inspiration behind the look and feel of your event?
We wanted our wedding to feel elegant and classy, while still creating a romantic atmosphere. We chose white and gold for our colour palette to keep everything bright yet timeless. Roses were incorporated into our centrepieces as a tribute to my late mother, Rose, and my bouquet was dedicated to her as well. We selected white tablecloths and napkins with gold accents to create a fresh, luminous setting. Pinterest was definitely a key source of inspiration!

Décor: Definitely our floral arch behind the head table and our centrepieces. We also loved the custom dance floor created by DJ Emporium.
Food: How do we pick just one? Everything was amazing! Our favourites were the antipasto bar (especially the fish!) and the tiramisu for dessert. The Strozapretti Pasta in Genovese Sauce was a huge hit with our guests, too!
What is the one piece of advice you would give someone planning their big day!
Enjoy the day! Take five minutes with your partner to step into your reception room alone and soak in all the hard work coming to life—you won’t regret it. And of course… choose LiUNA!
What moment during your event will forever be etched into your memory?
We’ll never forget our first dance as husband and wife, and our entrance. We also treasured the heartfelt speeches shared by our loved ones.
