It’s true, you don’t need to travel down south to get a dreamy beach wedding. GTHA residents have the luxury of driving a short distance to make their dreamy beach wedding come true at LIUNA! We recently caught up with past LIUNA Gardens couple Melvin and Carmela Gool, to ask them about their experience with us, favourite memory, and one word that best describes our staff who worked alongside them to make their dreamy beach wedding a reality.
LG: What made you chose LIUNA Gardens for your wedding?
CG: Mel and I had a beach themed wedding, and LIUNA Gardens had the perfect ambiance with the waterfront view.
LG: How was your experience working with LIUNA Gardens and other vendors to create your spectacular day?
CG: LIUNA was very accommodating with all our request. Since we were not able to attend the food tasting Valentines event, Nicole was able to arrange food tasting for us. From the patio set up, late night menu, last minute additional request for cocktail hour. Nicole was very professional and responded in a very timely manner.
LG: How were your on-site venue coordinators the day of?
CG: Nicole and her team were amazing. We were lucky to be able to set up a day prior to the wedding. The LIUNA Gardens team was on site during set up day. Salman, from the food tasting to the actual wedding day, he was very hands on.
LG: What was your favourite memory about your LIUNA Gardens Wedding?
CG: The entire wedding experience. It would not have been a successful wedding if it was not for the LIUNA Gardens Team. From the event planning with Nicole, to Salman who made sure everything was on point, to the culinary team who executed an amazing meal, to the banquet crew who was very friendly and professional.
LG: What is ONE word that you would use to describe your entire experience at LIUNA Gardens?
CG: Amazing!
