Tell us a bit about your event you hosted at LiUNA Station!
“The event was my bridal shower planned by me, my mom, mother-in-law and maid of honour!” It was a truly special day, made even more meaningful by the care, creativity, and love that each of us poured into every detail.
What were some of the sources of inspiration behind the look and feel of your event?
“A Fairytale-inspired, traditional wedding.” We wanted the day to feel timeless and romantic, with elegant details that created a classic celebration for our family and friends.
What were some of the sources of inspiration behind the look and feel of your event?
“Since my wedding will feature a neutral palette with white and green florals, I knew I wanted my bridal shower to be colourful, vibrant, and fun! My favourite drink is an espresso martini, so when I found the perfect ‘Love Is Brewing’ theme on Pinterest, I knew it was exactly the inspiration I was looking for. LiUNA Station was the perfect venue for the celebration, as its warm brown tones beautifully complemented the ‘Love Is Brewing’ theme and brought the entire vision to life.”

What is the one piece of advice you would give someone planning their big day!
“Don’t have a super rigid schedule, keep the games light and fun, leave time to talk with everyone, and photos! Also, make someone your contact person for the day! For me, my MOH handled venue questions or little hiccups. Everything went so smoothly, I had no stress!”
What moment during your event will forever be etched into your memory?
“Hearing all of the people I love laugh during my speech made my day! It was the most perfect day and I had the best time with everyone in such an intimate setting.”
