We had our amazing wedding reception at LiUNA Station! Every detail was thoughtfully curated, from the exquisite cake to our signature drinks, reflecting our unique style and love story.
What were some of the sources of inspiration behind the look and feel of your event?
We fell in love with the historical and classic ambiance of LiUNA Station and wanted our décor to highlight its unique charm. Drawing inspiration from social media, we collaborated closely with our vendor team to seamlessly bring our vision to life.

Décor: All of our florals were absolutely stunning! Jen from Lilac Gardens Floral Boutique (https://www.lilacgardens.ca/) did an incredible job. She took our ideas and vision and transformed them into something even more beautiful than we could have imagined.
Food: LiUNA’s antipasto bar was a guest favorite! We received countless compliments from attendees who were truly in awe of its variety and presentation.
What is the one piece of advice you would give someone planning their big day!
Time flies when you’re planning a wedding, so remember to enjoy the process! After many hours of preparation, everything will come together beautifully.
That said, take the time to carefully choose your vendor team. Without our incredible vendors, our day wouldn’t have run as smoothly!
What moment during your event will forever be etched into your memory?
We had Catarina from Cruzeiro Arts (https://www.instagram.com/cruzeiro.arts/) as our live wedding painter, capturing our first dance on canvas. In her painting, she beautifully included Zach’s dad, who is sadly no longer with us. Witnessing the reaction of Zach, family, and friends to the final piece created a memory we will both cherish forever.

This is truly so difficult to answer. Each of our vendors had an important role in creating our perfect day! We are kind of cheating with our answer here, but our MVP would have to be a tie between our extremely talented florist Lilac Gardens Floral Boutique and LiUNA’s amazing food and service!
