“Communication between all the different departments like sales, the kitchen, set up crew, waitstaff and bar staff to ensure that the whole event runs smoothly and to the clients’ liking.”

What goes into maintaining the elegance and historic beauty of LiUNA Station on a daily basis?

“Our staff is incredible at keeping the building clean and maintaining the outside garden and bringing out the historic beauty of the building.”

How do you balance preserving the venue’s historic charm while meeting modern event expectations? 

“Not forgetting who we are, we are a historic venue but also that we like to fuse modern and historic timeless elegance into our events. Keeping our timeless elegance and charm while bringing in a few modern touches can really take events at LiUNA Station to the next level.”

When it comes to last-minute details, what are the most common adjustments your team handles?

“Room changes are the most common details, layout changes especially if numbers change last minute.”

“Everyone who has worked at LiUNA Station has worked here for years, we have become like a family and that is one of the keys to our success.”

What’s one behind-the-scenes moment that made you stop and appreciate what you do?

“The clients’ appreciation for the event after they have been completed and seeing how happy they are each time makes such a difference.”
