Set in the elegant King George Ballroom, Sabrina’s spring bridal shower was designed to highlight the venue’s charm while embracing the freshness of the season. With the celebration taking place in May, the design leaned into soft pastels and vibrant spring tones, creating a refined cocktail garden party atmosphere. From curated details to an interactive marché-style brunch prepared on site, the experience felt both elevated and inviting. The result was a beautiful gathering filled with joy, connection, and thoughtful moments that made the space feel truly unforgettable.
Tell us a bit about your event you hosted at LiUNA Station!
“I celebrated my bridal shower in the gorgeous King George Ballroom, and since it took place in May, I really wanted to lean into those vibrant spring pastels. Think: a full cocktail-garden-party moment. We had themed cocktails, soft colors everywhere, and the prettiest setup.
I also planned a marché-style brunch, where all the dishes were prepared right in front of the guests. It made everything feel so interactive and fresh—and there were plenty of options so everyone found something they loved.
It turned out to be such a beautiful celebration, filled with love, laughter, and so much joy. It was truly unforgettable!”
What were some of the sources of inspiration behind the look and feel of your event?
“I originally came across this company that creates the most stunning cocktail displays, and I knew I had to find a way to tie that into my floral garden theme—because I love cocktails and flowers. So I brought my ideas to Angela at Blossom Lane and the team at Simply Lavish Events, and they added their own creative magic. Together, they completely brought my vision to life.”

“All the décor at my event was absolutely stunning—from the umbrella floral centerpieces to the dessert displays and custom signage. Every little detail was so intentional and really pulled the whole event together. But if I had to pick a favorite, it would definitely be the photo-op area. It became the backdrop for all the special moments and pictures with my family and friends.
And of course, LiUNA never disappoints with their food. Everything was delicious… but I LOVE a good Penne Alla Vodka.”
What is the one piece of advice you would give someone planning their big day!
“I know it’s easier said than done, but try not to stress over every tiny detail—trust me, no one remembers them. Focus on the big picture instead. This is supposed to be such a happy and exciting time, and it’s so easy to get wrapped up in the pressure of making everything “perfect.” But things will go wrong, and that’s okay! Don’t let little hiccups take away from your day. There’s truly no such thing as perfect—just enjoy the moment and soak it all in.”
What moment during your event will forever be etched into your memory?
“The one moment I’ll never forget was watching everyone get emotional during my speech—especially my mom and mother-in-law. They both worked so hard to make this day my dream event, and in that moment, they could see just how much I truly appreciated everything they did for me. It was such a heartfelt, unforgettable moment.”
