Cassandra and Andre’s January wedding was a heartwarming celebration that brought the magic of winter to life. With a classic décor, elegant colour palette, and a soft, twinkling ambiance, their day beautifully captured the timeless charm of the season. Surrounded by their closest family and friends, and lifted by heartfelt pep talks and quiet moments of reflection, their winter wonderland celebration was nothing short of perfect.
Tell us a bit about your event you hosted at LiUNA Station!
We had our wedding at the LiUNA Station January 11th, 2025. Everything about the day was purely perfection and magical. From planning our event with the team at the LiUNA Station to our special day. Everything ran so smoothly and made our big day extra special. There is not one thing we would switch about our wedding or LiUNA Station. We could not imagine getting married anywhere else and wish we could re-live our day over and over again.
What were some of the sources of inspiration behind the look and feel of your event?
We loved the elegant nature of LiUNA Station which inspired us to have an elegant ceremony. Once we saw LiUNA Station we felt like royalty and wanted to display that feeling with our wedding. We used colours such as rose gold, gold, pink and champagne. We also were not picky with picking our details and décor. Whatever felt right in the moment we went with.

The number one thing we couldn’t live without was our TASTY dinner selection. I don’t recall ever going to a wedding and feeling that full and satisfied from a meal. Before my main course I was already feeling full, which made me feel so energized for our full night ahead of dancing and celebrating.
What is the one piece of advice you would give someone planning their big day!
My one piece of advice is to enjoy the day. It goes by quickly. Take a moment in the morning before everything starts and just have a minute by yourself for a pep talk to be present. In the morning I woke up before anyone, sat with a coffee and just processed the day by myself and had a talk with myself to stay present and enjoy every moment and it truly happened.
What moment during your event will forever be etched into your memory?
The moment we had our first look. I did not think we would be so emotional but it was so special to just start the day off with us two privately. We both felt so fulfilled and proud and again had our own pep talk before the event started.
