A cozy gathering of family and friends who came together to share in the joy of their special day – Jessica and Christopher’s rustic charm décor blended seamlessly with the elegance of The King George Ballroom. Laughter and love filled the air as guests created cherished memories to last a lifetime.
Tell us a bit about your event you hosted at LiUNA Station!
We celebrated our beautifully warm rustic wedding reception in the The King George Ballroom and it was a night filled with good food and dance surrounded by the warmth of loved ones and the richness of the season.
What were some of the sources of inspiration behind the look and feel of your event?
Given our fall wedding, we wanted to draw from those colours of the changing leaves (rusty oranges, warm tones) but we also wanted something that complimented the interior of The King George Ballroom – the result was a warm, rustic vibe. Pinterest was a huge help but our florist, Christine and Greg at Special Event Rentals helped really bring our vision to life.

A goal of ours was to ensure everyone was well fed and had a good time- we still have our guests raving about our wedding but especially the supreme antipasto bar! Everyone LOVED it!
What is the one piece of advice you would give someone planning their big day!
Don’t be afraid to ask for help, you likely have way more people in your corner then you realize so lean on them! More importantly, don’t let go of your vision! Sometimes, you hit a road block or two along the way— don’t settle for less than what your vision of the day is.
What moment during your event will forever be etched into your memory?
Having our grandparents in attendance with us — during our speech, looking out to all our friends and family there to support us was heartwarming. But seeing the look of pure joy on my grandmothers and my husband’s grandparents faces, it’s something neither of us will ever forget.
