Rosanna’s dream for her daughter, Teresa’s Bridal Shower was truly heartwarming and
strikingly beautiful. Every bit of it was ‘elegant, timeless, romantic and fun’ just as Rosanna had
planned. From the florals and gorgeous trees to the décor and decadent desserts this day was a
sweet dream come true!
Tell us a bit about your event hosted at LiUNA Station!
We hosted my daughter’s bridal shower. We have three children, and my daughter is the first
to be married. When she got engaged, we knew that the only place to celebrate such a
momentous occasion would be LiUNA Station. We’ve always had such great experiences there –
from the venue to the service to the fantastic meal, it was an easy choice. Working alongside
Vico, Miranda, Claudio and the staff made planning the event seamless. They were always
happy and willing to answer any questions without hesitation.
What were some of the sources of inspiration behind the look and feel of your event?
As Teresa is my only daughter, I knew that I wanted her event to be special. Creating a space
that was elegant and timeless, yet romantic and fun, we wanted to host an event that both
celebrated Teresa’s love and the next chapter in her life, bringing together all of the most
meaningful women to us for a day of celebration, laughter and infinite memories. My
inspiration for my daughter is to live life fully, work hard to chase her dreams and enjoy them
when they come true. We both love fashion, décor and have a knack for creating an ambiance
that is welcoming, warm and unforgettable.
What is the one piece of advice you would give someone planning their big day!
Start planning as soon as the couple gets engaged. Instagram and Pinterest are phenomenal for
gathering ideas and inspiration. Create an album for both your bridal shower and wedding,
gathering ideas for invitations, decor, floral arrangements, dresses, colour schemes, desserts,
cakes, photo feature walls and anything that you might want to make your day special. At the
end of it, you have to create a dream that is personal to you. Have fun with it!
What moment during your event will forever be etched into your memory?
The moment my daughter walked in and saw the hall for the first time, she cried – and in that
moment I knew I had achieved her dream shower. That for me was priceless.
